Tamar Sevajian is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) and has a private practice serving California. She is a Certified Grief counselor and works with couples and adult individuals in grief and relationship issues.

She received her M.S. in MFT from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA, where she received specialized training in Restoration Therapy (RT) under Dr. Terry Hargrave, the founder of RT. Her additional certifications include Family Wellness, Anger Management, Prepare & Enrich and MarriageStrong.

Currently, she is a doctoral candidate at Northcentral University for Doctor of Marriage and Family Therapy (DMFT) and is working on her dissertation project about Complicated grief and the re-traumatization of Armenians in the midst of a pandemic. She has volunteered and facilitated groups as a Grief, Stress Management and Couples group counselor at Elizabeth House, Lake Avenue Church, ABBC Pasadena and COAC Glendale. She’s a member of professional organizations such as: CAMFT, AAMFT, AAMHA and now AMHI. She served as chair of the education committee on the board of AAMHA during the past year.
